Little River Baptist Church gets its name from the Little River Valley formed by the Crab Creek and the Little River. The Little River community is located in Transylvania County in the Western NC Mountains, an area known for its natural beauty. We are located between Brevard and Hendersonville.Holmes Educational State Forest and DuPont State Forest are located within 5 minutes of the church. DuPont offers great hiking, horseback riding, mountain biking, trout fishing and incredible scenery.Also located about 5 minutes from the church is the Pisgah National Forest. From there you can access the Blue Ridge Parkway, the Appalachian Trail, Davidson River, Sliding Rock, Looking Glass Rock, and Shining Rock Wilderness area, along with many other natural attractions.The Little River community and Little River Baptist church are a great place to call home. While our church originally drew most of its members from the surrounding community, our church now has members and attendees from many neighboring towns. The community is experiencing growth, as it has become a popular retirement area. Many young families are also choosing to live here for the improved quality of life.
