Through Music and
the Word

We have Sunday worship services at 8:30 AM, 11:00 AM and 6:00 PM.

Our Sunday services incorporate a good blend of contemporary praise choruses and traditional hymns. Our worship is all about Who we are worshipping. We don’t place a rigid emphasis on any one style of music.

Sunday morning services include congregational singing and music from the Worship Choir, soloists and small groups.

We use a video projector as an aide in singing and for sermon notes..

  Ministries




Sunday School
We have Sunday School classes for all ages that meet at 9:45 on Sunday morning. These classes offer small-group Bible study and the opportunity to interact and talk about what you are learning with other people. A nursery is provided. You are encouraged to visit several classes until you have found the right one.

Small Group Bible Studies
Several small-group Bible studies are offered on a regular basis. Among others, we have recently offered studies on: How to Study the Bible, Marriage and Family, Beth Moore Bible studies, Experiencing God, Personal Finances, Systematic Theology and First Place Christian weight loss. Depending on need a nursery is provided. These classes are typically offered on Sunday afternoon and evening but depending on need can be offered at any time during the week as well. New Members and Enquirers Classes are also held periodically.

Senior Adults
We have an active senior adult ministry that meets on a monthly basis to visit local attractions and share meals together.

Women's Ministry
Bible studies for women are offered on a regular basis, as well as trips to women’s conferences. Our women have attended the Women of Faith Conference in Charlotte, NC each October. We also have an active “secret sister” group.

Deacon Ministry
Our church has a deacon council of 12 men whose job is to assist the pastor in the ministry of the church. Each deacon has his own “flock” of church members, and his job is to visit, encourage and pray for the members in his small group. Deacons are elected for a three year term and may be re-elected after being inactive for one year.

Van Ministry
Our church vans run every Sunday morning and bring people to church that do not have a ride. Call the church office for more information or to schedule a ride.
